Group Visit Request

Thank you for your interest in scheduling a group visit at Wright State University! 

Wright State University welcomes organized groups, including college access programs and high school classes, to campus for a group tour and visit experience. Please review the following information in full before submitting your request. Submitting a group visit request indicates your group's agreement to these terms. 

Interest in visiting Wright State has grown considerably in recent years. We sincerely appreciate every group's interest in Wright State, however, requests for group visits now exceed the number we are able to accommodate. Priority will be given to groups of high school juniors and seniors, ensuring students closest to making their enrollment decision have the opportunity to experience campus. 

We are unable to accept requests from groups of students below high school age. Additionally, requests that fall outside the group size or scheduling guidelines may not be accommodated. 

Scheduling 

• Requests must be submitted no fewer than two weeks before the requested visit date. 
• Groups are limited to 50 participants, excluding chaperones. 
• Available dates and times for group visits are listed on the calendar. We are unable to arrange visits outside of the posted availability. If your group is unable to attend during these times, we unfortunately will not be able to accommodate your request. 

Chaperone Requirements 

Each group must provide one chaperone for every 15 students. Every chaperone is required to: 

• Be at least 21 years of age 
• Carry emergency contact information for all participants in the group 
• Remain with the group at all times and maintain appropriate conduct and expectations for the duration of the visit. 

Expectations for Group Conduct 

All visitors are expected to conduct themselves in a manner that supports and respects the University's learning environment. Group leaders are responsible for their participants' conduct throughout the visit and should communicate the following expectations in advance: 

• Arrive promptly at the scheduled start time. Late arrivals may result in a shortened or canceled visit. 
• Treat students, tour guides, staff, and campus facilities with courtesy and respect at all times. 
• Limit cell phone use during the tour so participants can remain engaged. 
• Follow all Wright State University campus policies. 

The Office of Admissions and its tour guides reserve the right to pause or conclude any visit that disrupts the campus environment or interferes with the experience of others. If a group's conduct does not meet these expectations, staff will address the matter with the group leader, and future visit requests may be reviewed before being approved. 

Cancellations 

Cancellations must be made at least 72 hours before the scheduled visit by calling 937-775-5700. Cancellations received after this deadline, as well as no-shows, may affect the approval of future group visit requests. 

Lunch 

Groups are welcome to enjoy lunch at the Union Market following their visit. Lunch is available for $10.50 per person, with payment accepted as a single transaction or individually by cash or credit card.
